steven alan fall 2011

back in february, when i saw the photos from the steven alan fall 2011 collection, i knew it was going to be a long wait. i want so much of this collection that i’ve been checking the website every couple of days in anticipation of the arrival of my favorite pieces! and even picking out my favorites was a bit of a challenge. i love the mix of blanket stripes, simple florals, and smock tops, and i enjoy the varying lengths and silhouettes. it’s just the type of collection that is perfect for fall in northern california.

many of the pieces are already available online, so get to it!

  1. It feels like Steven Alan cannot do wrong. Every collection gives off a polished and unified vibe, but it’s never forced or trendy. The fall collection was exceptional, I love the palette!

  2. Oh, I think it must be because we’re just leaving winter and seeing spring weather here, but these all look like a downer to me! I probably loved them when they were posted initially in the middle of my summer but now all I want is dresses and no tights and thin cottony clothing!

  3. Love it! You’ve been showing some great fall collections, I’m a little bit sad its just become Spring here. Perhaps I should start working on my outfits for next Fall now….

  4. Love these–especially the striped jumper and that oatmeal-colored sweatshirt dress. Ah, if only I weren’t a poor graduate student!

  5. I guess it’s just me, but these are soooo frumpy looking! That long flower dress looks like something pregnant women wore in the 1980s/early 1990s. And the model looks so disheveled! I didn’t find this inspiring at all.

  6. i love everything about this collection I LOVE how her make up is reminiscent of the cast from family ties…or is that just me? sha na na naaaaa
