more spring dreams

ymc dress

we just got through yet another very rainy week here, which means i’ve had even more time to create even more collages of outfits i wish i were wearing! i’m sure by now you’re seeing the theme: easy dresses, cute shoes, glasses, and straw hats. i feel like in the past i’ve claimed that fall dressing is more fun because you get to wear more layers, but i think the california girl in me is ready to shed all those layers and get back down to basics!

in other news, i actually bought the boutique by jaeger stripe dress in the collage below, but unfortunately, it didn’t fit! it is now sold out online, so i thought i might offer it up for sale if anyone is interested. it’s a uk size 10/us size 6. just shoot me an email at erin@calivintage.com if you’re interested and i will give you the details!

  1. Those outfits are great. I’m scouring the thrift haunts like crazy looking for fun dresses, but so far to not much avail.

  2. Is it sad that I’m already planning outfits for later this week when it’s supposed to be in the 70’s in San Francisco?? I can’t wait. My poor pale legs are going to get to come out and play (and hopefully stop being so pale). I love the black and white striped dress that you picked out – if we were the same size, I would definitely take it off your hands.

  3. I love the striped Jaeger dress! OH I wish that I had the money to buy it off you, it;s absolutely stunning. I cant wait until its warm enough to wear dresses like this with bar legs and sandals …..xxx

  4. SUCH an adorable dress – I may just have to email you ;) Stripes have been growing on me more and more. It would so perfectly be paired with that dainty straw hat, too.

  5. Oh I just love these little combinations! Here in Australia the past summer has been so hot and I have been desperate for winter to come along but you have made me wish summer would stay on a little longer. I could imagine these getups looking brilliant on you, so I look forward to see what you come up with in the warmer weather.
