i found this photo here.i’ve been feeling so blah lately. really, i have. but i was doing a little chictopia browsing this morning, and my eye was caught on this lovely photo of darlingdarling. i like it. very cool. i’ve been inspired.
anyway, i decided that i want to start posting some of the style inspiration i’ve found on sites like chictopia and weardrobe, so expect to see more of my favorites from now on!

oh hello there! can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m 23 years old and am studying to be a librarian. I was born and raised in California and really can’t see myself living anywhere else.
what was your inspiration for this particular outfit?
My inspiration for this outfit was initially very specific…it was based on an outfit post by Karla of Karla’s Closet. I am in constant awe of what Karla can pull off but this outfit seemed more tangible for my wardrobe than usual. I loved the idea of pairing a denim jacket with a girly skirt and a loose top. I reworked it to the pieces I had in my wardrobe and made the outfit look more like me in the end. That’s the beauty of being inspired by pieces on other bloggers. You can use it as a starting point and then re-structure the outfit to your specific taste.
