it’s officially summertime, and this week i’ve teamed up with bc footwear to kick off the bc summer roadtrip! you can follow along as 8 different bloggers in 8 different cities share their favorite local spots. i’m representing los angeles, but since it’s such a massive city and i’ve only been living here for a little under a year, i decided to focus on my own neighborhood of los feliz. so i put together a fun summery outfit with my new line up sandals for a little stroll around barnsdall art park. it’s a favorite spot to go on walks or to have a little picnic with a stunning view of the city all around. they have a famer’s market every wednesday, and i usually stop by to pick up fresh fruits and veggies for the week before heading back home along vermont ave and stopping in at a few favorite shops.

griffith observatory – a roadtrip to los angeles just wouldn’t be complete without a stop at the griffith observatory for touristy photos and a killer view
los feliz theater – this charming historic theater plays a great selection of indie flicks

squaresville vintage – there are a ton of vintage shops in the neighborhood, but this one is the closest to my house. i always have to duck in to see if they’ve got something new.
steven alan outpost – what’s better than steven alan? getting awesome deals at the steven alan outlet!
skylight books – in this digital age, there’s something so refreshing about browsing through books at the local indie book shop.

house of pies – nothing like a late night slice of pie a la mode at a divey diner.
little dom’s – i may be slightly addicted to their blueberry ricotta pancakes.
the punchbowl – it’s hard for me to resist stopping in every day for their “greena colada,” a smoothie made with kale, avocado, pineapple, and coconut.
