and look who’s back on the rooftop? i realized it has been such a long time that some of you might not even have been around in the days when all of my outfit photos were shot from my rooftop! i was feeling pretty exhausted after a long day of work, so hopping up on the roof to enjoy the view of oakland as the sun set in the sky felt like a nice little midweek treat. not only that, but i decided to get all dressed up in my chloe sevigny for opening ceremony dress! i had my eye on this baby ever since i went to the oc store in february, but at the time, they didn’t have my size! fast forward 6 months and i found it up for sale on their site for a fraction of the price! there are seriously so many good sales online right now.

in other news, if you’re interested in their selection of frames, bonlook has informed me that if you use the code “bonlookgive” now through the month of september, you will get $10 off to your purchase and bonlook will donate $10 to childsight, which seeks to improve the vision and academic potential of low-income children who have limited access to basic vision care. win win!

dress: chloe sevigny for opening ceremony
shoes: jeffrey campbell ‘eye in the sky’ heels
glasses: bonlook j’adore frames

      1. be happy for that little accident. That little shorter bangs fits you very much !!! You should do always like this.
By the way: You dress is amazing again. I love your way of clothing, especially your blouses. Take it often as an inspiration for myself and try to do same.

  1. Man, I really love the price range of bonlook’s stuff but they didn’t have the specific cat eye frame that I liked. I then got a Christian Dior pair of sunglasses and popped out the frame so I could replace them with clear prescription ones, but even with insurance it was still a little over $300. Eeks. For future reference, I will definitely try to get a pair from bonlook. :)

  2. These photos are so gorgeous! The one of your legs in the sun is gorgeous! And the print of the dress looks so cool with your tattoo. And it’s a marvelous dress. Apparently I love everything :)

  3. you look lovely in that dress! the flutter cap-sleeve is so flattering. really, really great styling.

  4. Oooh, I have the Lesley version of this dress (with a peter pan collar and button down bodice), in the same paisley print. Paisley is SUCH a great pattern! The dress looks terrific on you, and it’s given me some ideas as to how I can wear mine. At the moment, the Melbourne winter is forcing me to team it with black black tights and almond-toe heels. Such a fun dress to wear!

    Excellent blog!

  5. Yay! The roof again! I lovelove that dress. And you’re right that there are so many good sales right now – I just snagged up two dresses that I’ve been eyeing forever for like 75% off each! I need to try and minimize my enjoyment of the sales, though, otherwise it’ll kind of negate the effect!

  6. i never realized you had such adorable tattoos! i’ve followed your blog for a bit and love your style. toooo cute :)

  7. oh my goodness i want that dress! the cut and the print are perfect. you totally scored :) hey, what do you do with the clothes that you don’t want anymore? i’d be willing to buy if you sold anything old or that didn’t fit or that you didn’t want anymore!

  8. Your current haircut is stellar! Sigh, looking too good! I must say, one of my favorite elements of your posts is that you have such interesting photos! I like the visual texture, and of course you have lovely outfits :)
