after writing that last outfit post about my new fox shirt from opening ceremony, i happened upon the images from the jill stuart fall 2011 collection and nearly had a heart attack. i wasn’t invited to this particular show, but let me just say that if i had been in attendance and seen these pieces in real life, i probably would have fainted at the sight of this collection. maybe that’s just the cold medicine talking, but i seriously can’t get over this beautiful, nature-inspired collection. it’s got me saving up my pennies to for a serious fashion investment.

Normally, I am not a fan on blue and orange together but these shades look so nice with the brown. Also am loving that last dress and I don’t even know why. I just like it a lot.
somebody get the smelling salts– i just fainted from so much goodness in one collection! My favorite has to be the short orange colorblocked dress though. Thanks for bringing this collection to my attention– it could be my ruination!

I don’t own anything that has an animal on it, but I definitely became smitten with these bold and bright prints because of how fun and dynamic they were. And not only that, but the other bold and simple lines of the other works are so eye-catching as well!
