the day before i left for my vacation in hawaii, i received an express package from the very sweet jaclyn of audrey grace boutique. i pulled open the wrapping to reveal this pretty dress by la-based designer, popavina. she had sent me a little iphone photo of the dress before it arrived, but that teeny tiny picture did not do it justice at all! i instantly fell in love with the pretty layers upon layers of wavy lines in pretty pinks, sea foam green, and brown. i know it’s a bit of a dressy little number, but being in hawaii on vacation, i thought it would be the perfect thing to wear on a quick trip to the beach near my hotel here in ko olina. i think it would also look equally stunning for a fancy night out. perhaps just the thing i would wear to visit the audrey grace pop up shop opening tomorrow night in new york. i won’t be able to attend, but if you’re in the new york area, you definitely try to make it out. she carries a lovely selection of some of my favorite designers, so i’m sure it will be  a blast.

i was also recently interviewed for the audrey grace magazine, which you can check out here!

  1. what a great dress! it tempts me to try making something out of a bushel of rick rack… and I’m loving your Hawaii posts right now, Santa Cruz is sunny but still cool and windy, and I wish I could swim in the water!

  2. I love this! It looks like such an Erin dress – when I saw the tiny pic on my blogreader I first thought it was that boutique by jagger dress of yours that I love. Upon closer inspection they are actually really different, but this one still looks like it be the other’s foreign cousin :) You look great! I hope you have a lovely trip back home!

  3. These are such magical photos Erin! That dress looks like it was made for you and I adore the unexpected combination of colours. Looks like you are having a fabulous time and I can’t wait to see more pics from the trip.

  4. I need this hanging in my closet STAT. It’s so beautiful, I’d feel so girly running around town in it. By the way, your pictures look like something out of an editorial, I’m willing to pool my money and just move to Hawaii now haha.

  5. What a wonderful, daring little dress! I hope you are having fun in Hawaii. I’ve been to the Big Island a few times and I love it. Never been to Oahu though. It looks lovely based on what you’ve shown us!
