since we’ve been on the topic of hawaii this week, today i thought it would be fitting to share with you the new parker barker for lime ricki swimwear collection. this small, vintage-inspired collection was designed by hayler parker-barker, the talented lady behind the children’s clothing line, culdesac. and this season, she’s added swimwear to her roster of design with a very charming collection of swimsuits inspired by vintage silhouettes in ’60s hollywood. i haven’t yet had a chance to go swimming on my trip, but i may just have picked out one of these suits for when i finally do hit the beach… and there may be a nice treat in store for you later this week, so stay tuned!
like what you see? limericki would like to offer you 15% off any item from the parker barker collection with code “calivintage” now through april 10!

Oooh, I’m super excited by that last one piece. Not a tankini fan, but the colors are gorgeous!
I love that navy swimsuit, I used to have similar one when I was a teenager…
super cute bathing suites *.*

Yep… I need them all…
oh my gosh SO CUTE and so perfect for my post pregnant stretch mark attacked body. tmi? But I do feel like the drawings are a tad bit cuter than the real life on the model ones. Is it just me? Like the cuts on the thighs are a bit higher, etc.
Sarah, I was thinking the same thing! LOVE the drawings but not really a fan of the real suits :( Such a shame!
yeah, i definitely see what you mean. i think as part of the design collaboration, some of the looks were updated to be a bit more modern. we’re just the types of people who can really appreciate a super vintage aesthetic! ;)
They are gorgeous, love the second tankini.
These are great – I love the way they play up the vintage look while still looking sporty – you know, that you could actually have a swim in one without accidentally revealing too much! The blue and white striped one is my favourite – it’s perfect for a trip to the seaside.
totally. i think a big part of the design is to create pieces that you can really be comfortable wearing on the beach, as opposed to a lot of the flimsier styles on the market these days.
I love the tankini you are wearing! So chic and modest! How did you find the sizing? I’m thinking about ordering…
Hey!
The first one is gorgeous! I just love it. Retro is great. There are so many styles and colours and you must feel absolutely fabulous wearing vintage bikins!
