keeping in tune with the 1950s theme, today i thought i’d share photos from the tata naka fall 2013 presentation. you know i’m a sucker for a creative presentation, so of course, this high-school themed show caught my eye right away. i love the cool 80s does 50s rockabilly vibes with impeccable styling and amazing colors. the color-blocked cheerleader-inspired dresses are the coolest grown up iteration of those uniforms i remember from my pre-teen days, and those retro bouffants are making me wish i had a live-in hairdresser so i could walk around with a perfectly coiffed do like that every day.

I love love LOVE this collection! The heart dress is so cute. And I could see myself wearing quite a few of those pieces. The plaid blouse in the 6th picture is my favorite piece. I’m loving the inspiration behind it :)

I really adore heart shaped patterns on dresses, also like the heart shaped back detail <3
I've never heard of this brand, and it's on my list from now :)
YES. yes.
Thanks very much for sharing this – such a fun look book. I can’t help thinking that some of it – especially the plaids – is a little bit Audrey Horne? Or perhaps it’s just all the red lockers!
Your designs are gorgeous, amazing, well crafted and superbly designed. Original! xx
