now that my hair has gotten so long (and the weather in la is so excruciatingly hot), i’ve been having a lot of fun playing with different updos. i first found this tutorial many years ago on the scissor sisters blog when my hair was pixie short, but filed it away in hopes of one day being able to try it. i’ve been sporting the look on and off the past couple of weeks and many of you have asked for a tutorial. i’m not especially good at doing it myself (mostly because i have to do a modified version to hide my blunt bangs), so i thought i’d share the tutorial that i used since it so perfectly demonstrates the right way to do it.
